Where centuries of craft still happen.
China is the heart of our sourcing. The map marks three places behind pieces in our collections: the porcelain city of Jingdezhen, the celadon kilns of Longquan, and Guizhou, home of sauce-aroma baijiu.
Longquan
Home of celadon since the Song dynasty, prized for its thick jade-green glaze. The origin of our celadon bowl.
Guizhou
Birthplace of sauce-aroma baijiu, the style of our 15-year bottling: long fermentation, long ageing, deep savoury aroma.
